The chalice veil, also known as pall, is a liturgical item consisting of a square fabric piece – with a side measuring 15 or max. 20 cm – which can sometimes be reinforced through a backing. Its border is often embroidered or finished with lace.
This pall is made of fine pure silk fabric and finely embroidered by hand following the old tradition. Inside the pall there is a PVC backing which makes it more rigid and practical.
